#RPmyBook is a weekly Twitter chat where writers answer questions as their characters.
We meet on Saturdays at 18:00 UTC+0 under the hashtag #RPmyBook.
Role play is a tool used by some writers to better get to know their characters. At #RPmyBook writers are encouraged to inhabit the characters from their works in progress (WIPs). We ask questions that challenge writers to get creative and think deeply about their characters. A compelling character is the root of good fiction. So why not join us?
This website serves as the information hub for the chat. Each week we send a reminder email to subscribers, and archive the week’s questions for anyone to use later.
#RPmyBook is hosted by Bronwen Fleetwood @bronniesway, who writes contemporary and fantasy novels for young adults.
Bronwen grew up in New Jersey, but recently moved back to South Africa, where she found it challenging to join in other writer chats due to the time difference. Having experience organizing the Princeton Writing Group and the Central New Jersey NaNoWriMo Region, she naturally figured she’d start a chat of her own.
She is currently seeking representation.
